The members of the Illinois Chapter 1 invite you to consider joining the biggest (and the best) law enforcement motorcycle club in the world. Membership is only open to sworn Law Enforcement Officers that ride a personal motorcycle. See qualifications below.
All law enforcement officers that ride are welcome! We generally schedule a minimum of 2 chapter rides or dinner meetings each month. We also have many annual rides and events, including an annual hog roast, pool party, Halloween party, and Christmas party. Many members ride to other chapter and regional Blue Knight events, such as conferences and conventions. All rides and events are encouraged, but completely optional.
Membership Qualifications are as follows: Be an active full or part time law enforcement officer with powers of arrest. Be employed by a governmental agency and receive monetary compensation, or be a retired or disabled former law enforcement officer. Possess a valid license to operate a motorcycle. Own a motorcycle or plan to purchase one within six months.
